Youth Race Team
The Hollyburn Youth Racing Team is focused on developing racing skills and encouraging a competitive but safe and fun time out on the water.
Practices run every weekend and as the light permits more time, then Wednesday evening sessions start too.
As the year progresses, there are a number of regattas hosted by other clubs and a great deal of fun can be had traveling to regattas and competing against others the same age.
Most racing is done in club boats: Laser, Radial, 420
Not much sailing experience is required to join the race team although it is recommended that racers have at least White Sail III or equivalent to make the best of the sessions.
Participation in the Youth Racing Team is restricted to junior or family members.
