Overview Sailing Kayaking

The club has a number of communal sailing boats and kayaks that are available for the exclusive use of co-op members. To become a co-op member, the associated co-op fees are payable (in addition to all of the other applicable membership dues), and the other eligibility criteria met.

The goal of the co-op program is to promote sailing and kayaking by allowing members to use a variety of watercraft. All the boats are easily rigged and can be rolled down to the water on dollies.

Co-op members must satisfy the HSC Co-op Captain of their sailing/paddling proficiency before being permitted to use the club's boats.

The Co-op boats are owned by the club and maintained by co-op members. Co-op annual fees cover the associated costs.

Co-op members must be 19 years of age or older to use the club's boats. Guests under this age may accompany the co-op member on the same boat. Co-op members shall accept full responsibility for the safety of all guests while using the club's boats.
